All good things eventually come to an end, and Renée is leaving BossArts after almost 20 years…

It all started when I got her resume, the best I have seen. Her degree in graphic arts proved to be a huge plus, and she definitely put these skills to good use in her new chosen line of work (even though she never helped me with graphics!).

Some of her other qualities kept shining over the years. BossArts was very fortunate to benefit from her high degree of professionalism and her uncompromising work ethic. Renée never takes shortcuts, not when taking care of her clients, and not when working with her colleagues. She is always engaged and authentic.

Her attitude and values certainly contributed to building our salon culture. She helped set the tone by being encouraging and collegial with other stylists, demanding with new hires, and certainly supportive of my efforts when it came to explaining or implementing upcoming changes in salon operations. Renée is a leader at heart, quiet or commanding as needed, and her influence on our culture will be lasting.

Close to 20 years… This speaks of her loyalty too, as Renée built a reputation across town for her curly cuts and was likely courted by other salons. Quite typically, she shared her skills with her colleagues and helped put BossArts on the map for the curly-haired Ottawa crowd.

Renée, your BossArts family and your clients will miss your style, passion, kindness and playfulness, and this unique twinkle in your eyes. We wish you success and happiness in all your future adventures. I am sure you’ll do well, whatever you do.
